Let's Talk

Wickham Laboratories Community Involvement

Date of event 17th December 2014

We at Wickham Laboratories believe that it is an important part of corporate social responsibility to give back to the local community.   We are therefore pleased to report that we were able to support several charitable initiatives over the past year, including:

The Rainbow Centre – On Saturday, July 19th, we held a charity family day and were able to raise over £1,000 for the support of children and adults with motor disabilities.  The Rainbow Centre is a local non-profit organisation that provides an invaluable service to the Fareham area in its comprehensive support of children and adults with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease among other conditions.

Reed Recruitment Collections – For the past few years, we have had the pleasure of supporting Reed Recruitment in their Christmas and Easter drives to collect chocolates for local charities. This year, we were able to donate 80 Easter eggs out of the 500 total raised, as well as 60 selection boxes out of a total of 750 raised.  These chocolates are provided to local children and families in need during these festive seasons.

We are grateful for the opportunity over the past year to provide for those less fortunate in the community and look forward to continuing these kinds of outreach in 2015.
