Wickham Laboratories are now preparing to move to the new facilities. The news of the acquisition of the site was recently announced. The facility is a former GMP clinical trial manufacturing site situated on the outskirts of Gosport, near Fareham. The site is approximately 6 miles from (the previous site), Wickham and conveniently located for Fareham train station and the M27 motorway. The medium and long term expansion plans will be easily met by this state of the art facility which has a floor area of 3,911m sq (42,100 sq ft), on 3 levels. In addition to ample parking the facility boasts a clean room complex, laboratories, offices and a warehousing area.
Wickham Labs aim to complete each phase of the move over the next few months. The proper procedure involves notifying the regulatory authorities of the Wickham Laboratories intention to move and change control documentation will also be raised. Each phased move will be preceded by qualification and validation of the facilities and equipment as required.
