On the 6th of February 2014 Wickham Laboratories participated in ‘Engage and Innovate’ conference organised by University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. The event focused around the collaboration opportunities in regards to the development of new commercial ideas and products which would benefit patients both in the UK and worldwide, as well as become a hub for healthcare innovations in the future.
There was a number of presentations given by different representatives from UHS who talked about the current achievements of the institution and ambitious plans set up for the next few years. Members of the commercial and research teams and the university colleagues were available on the day to discuss any projects or research ideas the attendees had.
Apart from the conference, there was also a display gallery that delegates could visit before and after the event in order to collect more information about the organisations UHS already cooperates with.
